Replacing Your Discontinued QuickCheck Bar Code Verifier: What Are Your Options?
As you may have heard, Honeywell recently announced it was Hand Held QC810 Displaypermanently retiring the entire line of QuickCheck Bar Code Verifiers by Hand Held Products. March 31st of 2012 will be the last day to purchase a new unit, and end dates for support have also been determined for each model, as outlined in the following press release:

Given that support of the entire QuickCheck line has been discontinued and will be phased out soon, Auto ID Solutions STRONGLY recommends that its customers make the switch to an alternate model as soon as possible. The recommended replacement brands and models are outlined in the table below.

Trade-In Credit

As part of Honeywell’s announcement, Auto ID Solutions will be offering a trade-in credit of between $50 and $500 for any current QuickCheck owners looking to make the switch to a fully supported and warrantied unit. All trade-in credits will be determined after the unit has been inspected by Auto ID Solutions.
