To allow for continuous printing and inspecting of bar codes a firmware upgrade is necessary for the Zebra Xi4 printer. This upgrade will provide a special mode to trigger the Printronix SV Series bar code verifier and to allow the verifier to pause the printer if a non-compliant or missing bar code is inspected or detected.
NOTE: Firmware upgrade can only be installed on a single printer and it cannot be transferred to a different printer.
